Curriculum

At Cactus View Elementary, students excel in mastering standards in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. The school offers special programs that enrich their learning journey, such as music, visual arts, physical education, and technology education. 

The curriculum at Cactus View is in line with the Arizona Career and College Ready Standards. These standards were crafted with the help of teachers, administrators, and experts to give students a solid foundation for both college and the workforce.

Cactus View is proud to house the C.A.B.S. (Choices Affect Behavioral Success) special education program. The C.A.B.S. program follows the Boys Town Education Model© and sets students up for success so they do their best learning. 

The Cactus View staff and students actively participate in a school-wide positive behavior support program. Together, the staff has identified the expected behaviors and worked hard to teach, model, and practice what those behaviors look, sound, and feel like. Students are praised for their excellent behavior and offered private and public acknowledgment. The positive recognition program is top-notch and includes tokens, Cactus View cash, and a chance to enjoy delicious pizza with the Principal!
