Junior Coaches Program

Our Junior Coaches program is a special program we have here at Cactus View. Our Junior Coaches program is a group of our amazing 5th and 6th grade students who would like to be leaders on campus. The purpose of our Junior Coaches program is to increase engagement and safety at recess and to support our older students who want to be student mentors and leaders.

Junior Coaches play games with younger students at lunch recess and help ensure that our younger students have fun and play safely with one another. Junior Coaches also meet with our P.E. teacher, Coach Evans, to learn new games to play with students and to learn how to be the best leaders they can be. Junior Coaches learn valuable skills such as teamwork, collaboration, and communication.
